In connection with intensive work on the construction of the Propane Dehydrogenation Plant (PDH) and Polypropylene Production Plant, another round of talks on cooperation between Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. and the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin has started. In September 2018 an agreement was signed between the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering and the partner from Police near Szczecin on cooperation in the field of expert and training services and joint innovative R&D activities. The meeting on 18 December 2020 was attended by the Faculty authorities, the Dean, Prof. Rafał Rakoczy, PhD and the Head of the Department of Polymer and Biomaterials Science, Prof. Mirosława El Fray, PhD and representatives of the key personnel from the Polyolefins Group. The details of cooperation and subsequent activities towards the effective use of the huge scientific-research potential of ZUT scientists have been discussed in order to further strengthen the science-business relations, especially in the field of education and workshops on polypropylene processes, chemistry and technology.
